Key testing data of the BloodoTM HbA1c Test

How are HbA1c results interpreted?

HbA1c values serve as pivotal indicators for the diagnosis of type 2 diabetes and the management of glucose control. The suspected diagnoses associated with HbA1c values, along with related recommendations, are detailed in Table 1

    Characteristics of the HbA1c test

    1. Accuracy

HbA1c measured in capillary blood dried
blood spot (CB DBS, x axis) samples were
    compared to three different sample
matrixes to assess the accuracy of the
    technique.
To test each correlation, at the time of
CB DBS collection, subsets of different
    donors provided other sample types:

    • Whole blood EDTA (WB)
    • Whole blood DBS (WB DBS)
    • Capillary blood EDTA (CB)

    Different sample matrix results are
    plotted against appropriate CB DBS
sample results in Figure 1. R2 values of
    each correlation are provided

    2. Stability Stability

For 22 days, HbA1c remains stable (%CV < 2 %) on the dried blood spot (DBS) card (Figure 2).

    3. Repeatability

Between-run repeatability results were obtained for a series of samples by analyzing each sample 10 times in the same day. Coefficient of variation did not exceed 1.23% for all
    samples.

    Results & Interpretation

Your results are delivered online within 10–14 days.
You’ll receive a personalized dashboard showing your NAD concentration (µmol/L), along with insights about optimal ranges, improvement recommendations, and supplement compatibility.
